What We Do
We are clinicians who believe that for a child to make real change, it doesn't happen best in a weekly fifty-minute session. It happens at the dinner table, during downtime around the house, in the moments when a parent doesn't know what to say and a child doesn't know how to ask for what they need. That is where we do our work.
We specialize in short-term, intensive, in-home support for families navigating the painful and exhausting experience of watching a child struggle. That struggle may show up at home, at school, or both. We don't believe in stretching support out indefinitely. We believe in getting in, doing the work with precision and purpose, and equipping your family with the tools to sustain progress long after our work together is done.
We work with a small number of children at a time, by design. This is not a practice built for volume. It is built for impact.
Our Approach
Our clinical approach draws primarily from three of the most evidence-based, family-centered frameworks in the field:
Internal Family Systems (IFS) guides us in helping your child understand the deeper needs and experiences driving their behavior. When we understand the "why" beneath behavior, lasting change becomes possible.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) equips your child with practical, real-world skills for managing emotions, navigating conflict, and communicating effectively, especially in the moments that feel most overwhelming.
Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) keeps our work grounded in leveraging your child’s strengths, interests, and what is already working.
Together, these approaches allow us to meet your child exactly where they are, understand what is driving the difficulty, and build a clear, actionable path forward in the environment where it matters most.

Before anything can change, you need to truly understand what's happening. The Family Picture is a comprehensive in-home assessment of your child and family system. The focus will be on examining behaviors, dynamics, communication patterns, and the environment your child moves through every day. You receive a detailed written report and a personalized action plan built around your family's specific situation. Clear answers. A defined path forward. No guesswork.

The Complete Picture includes everything in The Family Picture, plus direct coordination with your child's school: classroom observation, teacher and administrator interviews, and a review of any academic or behavioral records. The result is a 360-degree clinical understanding of your child, and a plan that works across every environment they inhabit.

In addition to intensive in-home work, we maintain an active partnership with your child's school, attending meetings, coaching teachers, aligning behavioral strategies, and ensuring that what we build at home is reinforced in the classroom. Think of it as a safety net and a skilled coaching relationship in one, available on a monthly basis for as long as your family finds it valuable.

Email support between sessions
Ongoing progress monitoring

Total in-home time: 2–3 hours per month

For families who want continued coordination across both home and school, The Full Partnership extends your support into every corner of your child's world. Ongoing home visits, continued school communication, and proactive planning ensure that the progress your family worked hard for doesn't slip away when life gets complicated. A monthly in-home visit lasting several hours
A monthly in-school visit
